The six talented young women in So She Said were all prepared to perform the string of short monologues in Jane Martin's 2005 Sez She . Midway through rehearsals, they discovered they were denied the rights to stage the show — the pseudonymous Martin typically refuses to have her plays performed in NYC — so director Larissa Lury and the cast had to think fast.
